Don’t procrastinate in fitness

How many times have you said, “I’ll workout later.” “Definitely, definitely tomorrow.” And what happens? Something comes up and you end up not doing it. Work, personal, or just life gets in the way. So that is why when you have the time to exercise, DO IT.

The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get to your results.

The best way to see results is consistency. Without it, then you prolong your path. Let’s say you exercise 3 times a week for a month, then go 2 weeks without. You lose some of the muscle you gained because muscle atrophy quick. I mean, QUICK. Its just the way it goes. So make sure you are exercising consistently every week.

I tell people all the time. Anything is better than nothing. Can’t get to the gym? Do some push-ups, squats, or planks. Or go on a walk. Walking for 30 minutes is better than sitting on the couch for 3 hours watching Netflix. Key is to move the body. Ever sat for more than a hour and then try moving? Felt stiff, right? Our bodies are meant to move, so keep it moving ladies and gentlemen.

Ultimately, when you procrastinate, the harder it will be to reaching your fitness goals. When you have time, take advantage of it. Don’t assume you will have time later. Because life will get in the way. So next time you think about working out, just take action. Your body will appreciate it. Hope you enjoyed this week’s blog. Stay tuned for more next Wed……………….Kei
